Johnson Controls Videos

Posted by Mr. Brovont on 11th December 2008

Please check out our videos featuring Wilson students on our district’s homepage at http://www.wyandotte.org  Congratulations to Mrs. Montemayor!! (8th grade science teacher) Her work with Johnson Controls has led to many opportunities for all of our students. Also, a big thank-you to Johnson Controls. They have helped us with regards to staff training and supplies that directly lead to student learning. We appreciate it so much and look forward to continuing our strong relationship. We are excited about our opportunity to be a leader downriver in renewable resources. If you haven’t checked out our solar panel page, it can be reached at http://weather.wyandotte.org/wilson.html Look for this video to be featured on the Discovery Channel in the future!

A not so pop quiz

Posted by Mr. Brovont on 3rd December 2008

I told the students that they “might” have a pop quiz before next Friday’s test. It will be tomorrow. It’s not worth very many points, but it will let them see where they need to improve for the real test next week.

Hotwheels Lab

Posted by Mr. Brovont on 3rd December 2008

Here is a video from our Hotwheels competition last week. Students from our Digital Media Club did all of the filming. Some of the video is distorted on purpose. We are testing out some features of our editing software.  (If the video doens’t show up please check back later. The site that I use to host my videos has been having some technical difficulties.)
